The update also added more magical forests and introduced the deep root travel system that can be used to rapidly teleport armies to different magical forests around the world map. Most notable is the role of amber, which was once needed for nearly all of the factionвЂ™s upgrades, but is now only necessary for research projects. While their units remain the same, the overhaul changes several of the wood elvesвЂ™ campaign mechanics. The faction was one of the earliest races to be included in the first WarhammerвЂ™s DLC content, making them one of the most sensible factions to receive an update. I agree whit everything you say, except the Mammoth part i like TW beacuse every unit has a purpose what many of you guys want is a OP unit. They are also incredibly hard for lords on foot and even on smaller mounts to properly deal with in CQC, because they cant land a hit due to being knocked over/knocked around The increase in charge bonus, mobility, armor piercing, hp and splash are all benefits you get from a dragon, and significant ones at that. The Warsphinx and the Dragons should be able to kill several Infantry Units alone. You cant target the Mount of a Lord so it doesnt matter how good its Protection is.ДЄnd the Wild big Monsters and Dragons have a good Durability in the Game. If you Compare that to TW:W the Dragons here are much better. Some Poison attacks, a Cannonball or two bye bye Dragon. Wile a Lord has something like Armorsave 2+ and Wardsave 3++ a Dragon has Scaleskin Armor 5+ and thats it. For a Dragon you pay 10 times more and its your Weakpoint if you ride them.

The Sad thing is that Horses, Pegasi and such are much better mounts then Dragons or Manticores in the Tabletop.

You pick and choose mounts based on what youre fighting and what you expect to fight against, you can also bring potions to counteract taking damage. Ever tried the chaos dragon mount with a sorceror lord? It melts against anything basically instantly. Supposedly in the board game you could lose a dragon to a single cannonball, so be glad that isn't the case here, at least here if you screw up your positioning your massive hp pool will probably give you a chance to escape.Дragons mostly reduce the stats of lords who ride them, which is just sad, while also being far larger and easier targets to hit. They just suck vs concentrated fire and are susceptible to being surrounded and butchered if they landed on top of cav/poison units.
